This library has really improved over the past few years - they have redesigned the interior and added new furniture and free coffee. The staff are really helpful and they seem like they want to help. Lastly the DVD's are now free, they used to charge $1.00

Good Library for its town

The Bloomingdale Library is a nice library for it's town. It's not as big as Schaumburg library but it's functional. The main floor has the books and magazine and also a computer area for internet use. Whenever I go there it's during the day time and the computers are usually free. I can see though during evening or wekends, there may not have enough computers. Their book colleciton is somewhat small so any specialty books you may look for, you might have to ask the adult reference staff to get the book from another library. They have a good selection of magazines also.

Nice Library

The Bloomingdale Library is very nice and large. It has lots of Selections for all types of things. The staff is pretty courteous and ready to help out. The bad part is that they charge you a dollar for any movies that you rent out...whereas most libraries are free. PROS: Big & Nice Library CONS: Fees on Videos
